We build classic Canadian wood-canvas canoes, using traditional materials like white cedar, ash and cherry and the original shapes of the Chestnut Canoe Company of Fredricton, New Brunswick. Our models are replicas of canoes originally designed for wilderness tripping, family paddling and cottage outings. These canoes have stood the test of time, and readily out-perform modern canoe designs in terms of handling, comfort and aesthetics.

While each Headwaters wood-canvas canoe model has its best application, choosing what’s best for you is a matter of personal preference. We are happy to help you narrow down your choices.
