Bobs Special

Our Bobs Special is a replica of the Chestnut Canoe Company’s “50-pound Special,” and remains a classic Canadian canoe for pleasure paddling at the cottage, tandem or solo. This 15-foot wood-canvas canoe is wide and stable, with distinctive curving lines at the bow and stern for unique aesthetics. Headwaters’ Bobs Special comes standard with lightweight ribs and gunwales, making it one of our lightest canoes. A keel adds strength and stiffness to the hull.
